Hanson is a pop music group from Tulsa Oklahoma comprized of 3 teenage boys named Isaac(18), Taylor(15), and Zac (13).they're noted for their happy upbeat music and snappy lyrics. they have incredible voices and incredible faces, they make girls go wild with their crazy antics and melt their hearts with their strong, sweet musical voices. Unlike many of the popular music groups around these days the Hansons play their own instruments and write their own songs. The Hansons started writing music when they were very young. Infact Isaac wrote his first real song in 3rd grade. The boy's father Walker,was an oil company executive and when the boys were still young his job moved him to South America. Since there were no english speaking radio stations where they were moving they decided to buy some 50's and 60's Rock n' Roll tapes. Those tapes are what inspired them to want a career in music. By the time they moved back to Tulsa they had their hearts set on forming a music group. For a long time they sang acapella with songs like "Rockin' Robin" and "Summer Time Blues" at pizza places and local hangouts, they even sang at The Blue Rose Cafe where there was an age limit of 18 and over so they had to sing outside. But after awhile they became bored and wanted to play instruments so Isaac got a guitar at a pawn shop, zac got a drumset from a friend and Taylor got a keyboard and a week later they sang live, with their inruments (but that doesn't mean they were good). One year they went to a convention of Music executives and all day they walked up to people and sang for them. But at the time grung music was what they were all looking for for and these sweet faced innocent boys didn't exactly fit in that category. After lots of hard work and dedication and endless amounts of rejection they finally found Mark Hudson who was amazed by the incredible voices of such young boys. And Mark Hudson became their manajor. Then after being rejected by 12 record Companies The Hanson Boys were finally signed by Mercury Records. Hansons First single "Mmmbop" was #1 all around the world and Hanson Mania began. Girls in all cities and countries around the world began to melt for those boys with the Harmonious voices and long blond hair. And record companies all over were kicking themselves for being so stupid as to turn down those wonderboys. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
